Lavine Lavine, Seena L., 86, of Ft. Lauderdale passed away peacefully on November 2, 2005, Seena was born in Superior, WI on May 4, 1919 and has resided in Ft. Lauderdale since 1977. Her memory will be deeply cherished by her loving children Rita Goldfine of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Howard Goldfine and his wife Margaret of Plymouth, MN; and grandson Leigh Goldfine, his wife Kristen and daughter Jessica of Aurora, IL. Preceded in death by her sister, Ada Gross. Survived by sister, Gita Freimuth of Duluth, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

Seena was a volunteer and member of many organizations including Coral Ridge Woman's Club of Ft. Lauderdale, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Booster Club of Hacienda Girls' Ranch, Hadassah, Humanitarian Society, Inc., Special Olympics, Quota International of Ft. Lauderdale, Woman's American ORT, Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Art Institute, Holy Cross and North Ridge Hospitals' Auxiliaries. Her outgoing personality and fun-loving ways will be greatly missed, along with her beautiful smile. Her hobbies have produced needlepoint pieces and paintings that will be treasured forever. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all of Seena's devoted care givers for the love they bestowed to her over the many years. You will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts. Thanks to all of her doctors and friends that supported the family for so many years. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the National Parkinson's Disease Association or charity of your choice. Chapel Services, will be held on November 6, 2005 at 11:45am at Star of David Memorial Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL (954-772-9000).
